The deadline for papers is approaching fast, and the deadline for papers, podiums presentations, and panels is not far behind. But there's still time to submit your work to THE research informatics conference of the year! Below is a graphic to help clarify the range of submission types.

Key dates:

·         Paper submissions deadline: September 27, 2012

·         Podium presentations, posters, and panels deadline: October 11, 2012

·         Registration open: January, 2013

The American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) 2013 Joint Summits on Translational Bioinformatics (TBI) and Clinical Research Informatics (CRI) will be held March 18-22, 2013 at the Parc 55 Hotel San Francisco, CA. See http://www.amia.org/jointsummits2013  for details.

The AMIA Joint Summits continue to be the premier venue for showcasing the latest informatics research at the dynamic interface of biomedical research and patient care. The meeting, however, features more than scientific presentations. It also includes sessions on issues, trends, and other important happenings with thought leaders in the field. During the meeting, there are many opportunities to network, catch up with friends and colleagues, and be part of a vibrant community that shares a passion for translational informatics research. We look forward to your submissions and to a rich program of cutting-edge, innovative research along with invaluable networking opportunities.
