Ecumenical business

Good morning all and Easter blessings to everyone!

As I prepare to leave, I'm trying to tend to some things that involve our ecumenical partners. Following the dissolution (2007) of the National Training Center for Resource Center Directors (at Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA), monies that had supported the Ecumenical Resource Center Gathering were placed in an account managed by board member and treasurer, Sharon Strohmaier.  This was done to maintain non-profit status should the NTC/ERCG/Ecumenical Resource Ministry Alliance decide to reorganize.  Now in April, 2013, the remaining board members have made the decision to dissolve ERMA and close the books on the ERMA account.  The remaining monies will be divided equally among the five denominations that supported NTC/ERCG/ERMA.  The only remaining entity is a google groups meeting at resource-mini...@googlegroups.com 

 

Treasurer Sharon Strohmaier will withdraw the remaining $6,047.76 and divide it equally (less any dissolution costs) among the five denominations.  Checks will be sent to the following:

·         Presbyterian Church-USA:  Kathryn McGregor, Treasurer, Presbyterian Association of Resource Centers  (kmcg...@providencepres.org)

·         Episcopal Church-USA:  Marnie Bash, Treasurer, National Organization of Episcopal Resource Centers 

·         United Church of Christ:  Sharon Strohmaier, Treasurer, United Church of Christ Resource Centers  (Sha...@irms.org)  

·         United Methodist Church: waiting for the UMC contact 

·         Evangelical Lutheran Church in America:  Catherine Fink, Treasurer, Association of Lutheran Resource Centers (cf...@nclutheran.org)
