Hello Everyone,
Thanks for participating in our Conference Call! And an excellent one it was! Thanks, Kay. Here are a few notes I jotted down. Power Point slides of what we saw today will be made available. We also were thrilled to welcome several from Episcopal Dioceses from California to Maine. Thanks, Sharon for inviting them.

Notes on June 25, 2013 Conference Call
“Echo the Story” is a guided experience in storytelling that helps cultivate listening, reflection, wondering, creating, noticing and naming, in other words, spiritual awareness.
Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle puts kids in the center of the learning. On the vertical axis are Concrete Thinking and Abstract Thinking. On the horizontal axis are Active Experimentation and Reflective Observation. Rather than traditional teacher, a facilitator uses prompt to guide the youth.
It uses a Missions Approach which is contextual, Montessori pedagogy which prompts wonder and reflection, Experiential theory which is active and sensory, and Hebrew learning which is dialogical and expects many facets.
Each session flows through 6 parts.
There are also suggested activities for follow-up to the story for during the week. “Activities to Do This Week”
At www.wearesparkhouse.org you can find workshops for Echo or request workshops.
Sneak Peek at “Animate. Bible” – Coming in July
Slightly different than “Faith”
Gives the right side of the brain a real work out

Information is at www.wearspakhouse.org -- look for webinar schedule for both Echo and Animate.
Any questions? Let me know! Excited about these two new resources!!
