Interesting interview / book which has stumbled across the core Romantic principle of “the pair” being the primary unit of consciousness and creation:

Why do they say stumbled across the core of Romantic principles?

Why do you find it interesting?
I'm curious...and being a brat!

Dear Brat,

I enjoyed hearing about the give and take, the bouncing off of ideas between colleagues.  Made me think of us working together, and how everything flowed so beautifully.  Steven always makes it  seem as if he is the lone genius, but it seems as if he needs Rudi to bounce things off of - and in the past Marla and now Abigayle.  Two together are bigger and better than just the sum of the two…

And that is why, dear Brat, I found it interesting.  And I must admit that one of your endearing qualities is your brattiness.  The stumbling was Jeff, not me.

Love from,
A brat, but maybe not as bratty as the headmistress of brattiness.

What I found useful was the explanation that the opposing forces in a relationship, no matter the type of relationship are beneficial in propelling the area being worked at forward. Also that when you have issues with a certain person and their seems to be a clash of characters that you need to pay attention to it, as that is one of those opportunities to grow.

This is a book on my book list. Thanks for sharing ladies!

xoxo,
Gudula

Dear Brat Sensei,

I was triggered by the language Jeff chose to use. And was subtly asking why this was a meer stumbling upon.

I have decided that I no longer identify with he group that calls themselves Heilkunstlers. Jo you may find that offensive.  I find it offensive that this author is belittled, albeit without the intention of doing so. I am currently examining areas of life where we indoctrinate ourselves.  Whether that be food, thought, or exercise, sex etc...
I am repelled by anything that admonishes another's brilliance/genius, even with a single word.  I am perhaps over sensitised to this feeling.  I too love how his group just is. Free. I would gladly participate in any construct that is free of the need for control.

So yes, this was timely. And this podcast was a great exploration of that notion. And I definitely wasn't suggesting you, dear Susie, were the stumbler.

Head Brat out!

PS I miss you guys so much! Really feeling the distance this year...

Welcome to the group of non-Heilkunstlers!

As I fall over...

Taking control of the brattiness, are we now?

As do I.  I miss us.
