The serial data output on my DeltaSol is not RS232 it's a 0 - 8 V (ish)
serial data stream. RS232 is nominally -12 / +12 V. A device expecting
RS232 may not work with the voltage levels from a DeltaSol, it depends on
how fussy it is about having +/- 12 V.
Is the "raw hex data" correct for the data that is being sent or is it the
the result of: wrong speed, wrong start/stop/parity bits, or an inverted
signal.
Methodical signal tracing from source to destination is the only real way to
sort it out. Is the signal at either end of every wire, either side of every
connector, either side of every join?
