Hi,

just made a small mistake with the Vbus adapter connected to my resol board.
I think, made a wrong connection, but in the end, the output don't outputs 9v differential signal.
Only something below 1V, but with a serial telegram is on the vbus- and vbus+.

Does anybody know, which part of the output is broken? Is there a "driver" which shifts to 9V?
Does anybody has a schematic of the output port?

Thanks
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

sorry, your message got stuck in manual approval…

As far as I know from our of-the-group communication your problem is diagnosed and a solution is applied next week, right?

Have a nice weekend,
Daniel

Be aware that the electrical connection is not a differential one, it's a simple nominally 8 V serial data stream. Wasted far too much time trying to get an RS485 differential reciever to work when developing my cheap interface to a Raspberry Pi.
