to Resol Vbus
Hello everyone,

I am trying to connect the RESOL DeltaSol BS Plus controller to my PC
via Ethernet. However, my RS485-Ethernet adapter seems to put out
rubbish when connected straight to the VBus interface (i.e. the
Service Center software does not interpret the data in any way, just
showing raw HEX data).

In the VBus protocol specification (the 27.01.2011 version, available
at http://goo.gl/HP6ZY), I've noticed several diagrams for a "VBus
Slave" interface. There are 4 different diagrams in the specification.
If I understand correctly, the "VBus Slave ohne TX" should be
sufficient to convert the VBus signal to a standard RS485 signal,
which I could then transmit to my PC using the Ethernet adapter and
log the data with RESOL Service Center, right?

I'm using the KrisTech KT-ETH-UART-1 RS485-Ethernet adapter:

Cheers,
Simon

Hi Simon

I dont expect you are still on thread but I too am attempting the same project.

If you did have success can you please point me in the direction of your resources.

So far I have a RS232/RS485 to Ethernet device (USR-TCP232-24) but I have only been able to get garbage from the Resol vBus unit.

Regards

Jason
