DL2 not communicating to DeltaSol BS

I have a
DL2 Rev 1.4 (200906301911)
connected to
Sungo USII (DeltaSol BS) W002 0200

I can communicate to the DL2 over the network.
When I go to Live Data, no data shows. With a voltmeter on the bus, I have ~8VDC and once a second you can see activity.
I would like to start by updating the firmware in the DL2, hoping that might help.
Where can I find updated firmware, the auto update does not seem to work.

No issue communicating to the DL2 with a web browser going to the IP of the DL2.
Using the Resol Service Center software Version: 2.5 b23
Build: 20140515 / da209ac7d26c
The discovery tool finds the unit, but when I try to connect, I get an unable to open serial port error, Java runtime error, password rejected. I tried the default password 'admin'

Any help would be great.

1) No live data

Could you please download the file

    http://<IP of your DL2>/current/current_packets.vbus

and mail it to me? I’ll try to find out why the DL2 might not show you human readable data (and we’ll be able to judge whether the DL2 actually receives any data at all).

2) RSC not connecting

The default password for the parameterization is „vbus“. The „admin“ credentials only work for the web interface itself.

Now that I have the RCS working (thanks for the password), I see plenty of data as hex values in the raw data window.

The problem seems to be that the DL2 started supporting the DeltaSol BS 2009 in firmware version 1.4.1 (released December 30th, 2009).

The automatic online update is currently not available, so you would have to use an SD card to update. I’ll send you the link for the manual download as soon as I am in the office tomorrow.

Once I started to poke around in the RSC, I was able to see all the data.

Hi David,

you can find the current firmware version for the DL2 version 1.x branch here:

Just extract the ZIP file and copy the „resol-dl2-firmware.yml“ and „resol-dl2-firmware.bin“ files into the root directory of an SD card. Then eject that SD card, put it into your DL2 and wait 10 minutes :) After that your DL2’s web interface should show „1.4.7“ in the footer of each webpage. If it does not please retry the procedure with a different SD card.
