The festival will provide breathtaking views of 300 synchronized drones (100 more than last year!), fully choreographed with music. We are planning some exciting enhancements to the experience, including new custom drone formations, thousands of floating water lanterns that you get to launch yourself and a concert lit by more than 2,000 candles.

The VIP area is reserved for show sponsors and those with pre-purchased tickets. Tickets are available for $100 per person and is in addition to the Carload Pass or individual admission. VIP ticket holders will have access to designated seating during the Drone Show, seating in the VIP terrace, food and drinks, a guided tour through the drone launch zone, and more.

It is unlawful for any person to have any animal at any festival or community event authorized under a permit issued pursuant to the City Code* and occurring within the city, unless such animal is a specially trained service dog and actually in the control of the disabled person. For this reason, we cannot allow admission of any animals or pets within the festival grounds unless they are certified service animals.

Like fireworks, the drones will be visible from miles around and all spectators are welcome, wherever they are. But the prime viewing spot will be at Exploration Place, for two big reasons. (1) The positioning and orientation of the show in the sky will be optimized for spectators watching from Exploration Place. (2) The show is choreographed to music that will be played through a sound system that covers the Exploration Place grounds.

Plans are underway to bring back the illuminated drone show by Firefly Drone Company back as a featured event of the 2024 Sequim Sunshine Festival. If you saw the show in 2020, 2022 and 2023, you know how spectacular it is! If you missed it before, you won't want to miss it this time! Come down to the park early for a bite to eat and music before the show. Bring your lawn chair and a blanket and settle in for a spectacular show!

Not only is the mesmerizing show coming back for a second year, but organizers are extending it to three nights because of the popularity. Scheduled for Sept. 21-23, the show will provide breathtaking views of 300 synchronized drones fully choreographed with music.

Drone light shows are performed by swarms of lighted drones arranged into aerial formations. Almost any image can be created in the sky by a computer program that turns graphics into flight commands and communicates them to the drones. The lights are animated and choreographed with music to create a mesmerizing and powerful experience.

The drones will launch from the Mid-America All-Indian Museum grounds, highlighting the Keeper of the Plains. Each night, the show will end with a special lighting of the Keeper of the Plains fire pots.

So there's a hot air balloon festival near me next week. I normally fly commercially (part 107) to take photos or videos of something static on the ground. But getting some shots of the balloons sounds like it would be pretty fun. Just wanted to get some feedback here on doing that since I haven't flown under conditions like that before.

All eyes will be over the ocean, just south of the Pier, as Firefly Drone Shows will light up the skies with a dramatically choreographed presentation of 300 brightly lit drones coordinated by world-class artists and engineers.

The event is free and open to the public. The Fisher Family Pier will be closed for this event, but people should gather on the south side of the Pier on the beach (North side will be used for staging) for the best view of the show. According to our drone company, Firefly Drone Shows, the Drone Show can be seen for up to five miles with unobstructed views and agreeable weather conditions. Local restaurants and hotels will be offering specials, so contact your favorite spot for details.

In 2023, the Bordeaux Wine Festival unveiled a major new feature: a ballet of drones performed over two evenings to surprise and amaze locals and visitors alike. On the Friday and Saturday evenings, the public enjoyed extraordinary shows from the left bank of the Garonne river.

The flight of drones performed, to music, a choreography that can be seen from the Wine Festival site on the left bank, where access was free. This festive and innovative performance was nonetheless respectful of the environment as it leaves no residue behind, leaves the site perfectly intact, and induces a recycling of the drones' batteries (each device has a life span of 400 flights).

The company Dronisos, a pioneer in the creation of autonomous drone shows, had been chosen to carry out this project. Based in Bègles, it operates at major international events and amusement parks. Dronisos has developed its own technology, unique in the world, and flies Parrot drones, manufactured in France.

On Dec. 9, 16 and 21 Toyota Field will transform a winter wonderland highlighted by a Christmas-themed drone show. The fun begins at 4 p.m. each afternoon with the drone show taking place at 6:15 p.m.

Sky Elements Drone Shows is producing the light show, which includes captivating aerial displays that utilizes a fleet of drones, each fitted with brilliant LED lights, to create mesmerizing patterns, shapes, and animations in the sky.

At 7 p.m. there will be an unforgettable spectacle in the sky. The Go Mission Foundation is sponsoring a drone show that has never been seen south of Austin. The patriotic show in the air is designed and choreographed by professional animators, blending creative storytelling with striking imagery for an engaging experience. The show will feature 100 drones that will construct iconic American images. Families are asked to set up lawn chairs in the drone viewing area on Bryan Road and Bus. 83, East of the CEED building (the old Fontana hotel site). Parking opens there at 5 p.m.

\"Troops were carrying out aerial patrols when they observed a group of people and wrongly analysed and misinterpreted their pattern of activities to be similar to that of the bandits, before the drone strike,\" the army said.

Drones have become very popular in recent years and with advances in technology they have become easier to fly and control. A music festival site provides a multitude of opportunities for drone usage but what are the limitations and uses for drones at an outdoor live event that organisers should be aware of.

Drones can vary enormously in complexity and cost and can be piloted by amateurs or by professionals depending on their use. Many countries have strict limitations and regulations on drone usage whilst others are more relaxed. The key concerns of authorities is the safety of aircraft and people on the ground.

Drone Regulations.
The UK, for example, has a code of practice issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) where pilots must adhere to height zones which are defined as no higher than 120m and no lower than 50m when flying near people. However, the limit of 50m to people can be flexible when they are aware of or involved in the drone activity. The CAA discourages flying drones over festival crowds (at least 150m) so event organisers should enforce this where possible but exceptions can be made by obtaining the necessary authorisation form the CAA for festivals. For professional organisations operating drones, the CAA provides theory and flying tests plus registration which allows certain activities along with appropriate insurance.

Festival Organiser Usage.
Drones can provide a new aspect to festival site security and crowd control and there are now professional companies that can be contracted to provide these services during a multi-day festival. The professional pilots are generally permitted by the CAA to fly as close as 20m to crowds as long as it is in the interests of public safety. Drones can be used to monitor security perimeter fencing and unlawful incidents taking place on-site like assaults or other emergencies for example. They also have a role to play in monitoring crowd build up at entrance gates enabling any crowd control measures to be rapidly implemented.

Content Filming.
Drone video footage of a music festival to provide content is becoming more popular and organisers who want to provide drone footage usually employ the services of an experienced specialist contractor. A good drone pilot using the right equipment can work with producers and directors to capture the content requested whether it's being recorded for later or as part of a live stream. The contractor should have the necessary registration and insurance to operate close to large crowds.

Whilst many festival-goers may bring small drones onto a festival site, organisers should ensure that visitors understand any restrictions in place. Some festival organisers may impose a complete ban on visitors using drones, probably the simplest solution, or restrict them to uncrowded spaces.

For festival organisers planning their events using a software management platform like Festival Pro gives them all the functionality they need manage every aspect of their event logistics. The guys who are responsible for this software have been in the front line of event management for many years and the features are built from that experience and are performance artists themselves. The Festival Pro platform is easy to use and has comprehensive features with specific modules for managing artists, contractors, venues/stages, vendors, volunteers, sponsors, guestlists, ticketing, cashless payments and contactless ordering.
