The basic concept is the same though. You create a mock canvas 2D context and then generate an SVG scene graph as you call canvas drawing commands. Basically you can reuse the same drawing function. Depending on what context you pass to it, you either draw to a standard 2D canvas or generate an SVG document that you can serialize.

You can't actually "transform" a canvas element that's been drawn to, as it's just a bitmap, so keep that in mind. When you export to SVG you're really just calling the same drawing function again using a fake context.

Fabric.js advertises having a "canvas-to-svg" parser, and it has a demo which apparently converts canvas to SVG. While the other items do work if you use the controls and then "Rasterize canvas to" SVG, it does have an issue converting the default image and doesn't export all objects as path data (ie, if you imported the svg into fabric without path data, it can't "vectorize" it as of 2020), so you'd have to check whether this is actually capable of converting raw canvases to SVG or only if creating items through the editor.

I think the canvas must already be drawing an svg for this method, but I found it in the course of trying to create a download svg button myself, also ran into this stack overflow question in the same search figured it may be relevant.

Potentially this could be a plugin idea, as well. I could imagine something that automatically would recolor the resulting composite nodes. Another thing to consider is whether sometimes it might be easier to layout this hierarchy in a single note. This note could be converted to canvas form (see below), then you could more quickly get started. Eventually, when the idea was sufficiently developed, the canvas nodes would be converted back into a draft outline. Ideally, the original outline, and all the later resulting drafts could be kept in connection with eachother (or perhaps metadata could be managed such that a dashboard could be automatically generated). Along these lines, it might be worth checking out this thread for some pretty amazing solutions: Dataview JS Getting The Tree Root. Following are a few more relevant things.

Bidirectional conversion is preferable. The heading levels and the edges could be used as the references for conversion. suppose you are a developer or interested in developing such a feature. Please check out the software named Lattics. it has the feature.

The Canvas2Document plugin has gone through the review process and is available for installation in Obsidian under the community plugins.

Use a collection to store data that users can manage in your app. A collection is a group of items that are similar, such as products in a product list. For more information about different types of variables such as collections: Understand canvas-app variables.

While holding down the Alt key, select the Trash icon for an item to remove that item from the collection, or select the Clear button to remove all items from the collection.

For information about how to show data from Microsoft Lists or SharePoint (such as dates, choices, and people) in a gallery: Show list columns in a gallery. For information about how to show data in a form (with drop-down lists, date pickers, and people pickers): Edit form andDisplay form controls.

On your side, you could consider edit your Phone Layout app, then go to "File"-> "Settings"-> "Screen size + orientation" setting, then switch Orientation option from "Portrait" to "Landscape", re-adjust the controls within your app, then click "Save as" to save your canvas app as another different name.

In addition, I think the Responsive Layout functionality could also achieve your needs. You could consider configure your canvas app as a Responsive Layout canvas app, then your app can respond to different devices or window sizes, making various experiences feel more natural.

In the meantime, the quickest thing might be to create a new tablet app, and to recreate each screen in the tablet app. For each new screen in your tablet app, you can use Ctrl-A Ctrl-C to copy all the controls from your old screen, and Ctrl-V to paste into your new screen. I appreciate this isn't ideal, but it might be a workable solution.
