I really don't see how you can blame eset for this one when you weren't involved in the install. It could of been a hosed or incomplete install. I've seen this happen with two other vendors so I think it could happen to any of them since AV has deep hooks into the operation system.
I also tried to reinstall the application. The application crashed par of the way through the install. Even if the first install was corrupted by the end user, the second install should have overwritten the first and corrected any problems. And these was not entry in Windows !0 Programs and Features. I would think that an application's uninstaller should be installed before anything else - especially if that app is known to cause issues with Windows.
ESET Uninstaller is a free utility tool for PC developed by ESET North America. As its name suggests, this uninstaller was made specifically to help users that are having some issues uninstalling ESET programs from their computers. It will automatically detect these types of software and will manually remove them all.
This uninstaller is a small utility and will run from your command terminal when you first launch it. Follow the prompts, and it will then scan your PC for any installed ESET software. From there, choose which ones you want to remove by typing in their corresponding number on the list. Wait for it to finish the process and restart your PC to check if the procedure was successful.
