DSSAT and MWCropDSS 2018 International Training in Thailand

'Efficient and precision agricultural resource utilization under changes with simulation models and GIS'

August 27-September 1, 2018 | Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand

Presented by a joint training program of Chiang Mai University, The University of Florida, DSSAT Foundation, The Thailand Research Fund, Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (Public Organization) - GISTDA, Rice Department of Thailand.

Goals: To gain better understanding of simulation models in predicting relationships of agricultural resources, i.e., water and nitrogen under various weather and climate conditions, on crop phenology and growth.

Each participant will receive the DSSAT v4.7 and MWCropDSS applications for Windows and the book 'Understanding Options for Agricultural Production'.

Registration

The registration fee is $1,000 if you register by July 31 and $1,500 if you register after July 31, 2018. It covers resource material including the DSSAT v4.7 and MWCropDSS applications and the book Understanding Options for Agricultural Production. It also includes AM/PM breaks and lunch on training days, and registration services. Payment is only by cashier’s check or money order. Do not send cash. Payment methods will be forwarded to your email by July 15, 2019.

It does not cover breakfast, dinner, lodging, health insurance, or transportation. Each participant is responsible for these costs. Accommodation will be arranged at the Green Nimman CMU Residence also paid by each participant.
