One addition: I don't want to use Sage Bridge as Backend as it doesn't meet our requirements. Thus I can't really use Sample or MoleMapper apps as a base or example.

Hello,
I am currently trying to get into researchstack, but I find it to be less intuitive than Researchkit (which I have worked with already).

I have looked into the Sample and Backbone Apps but find them highly confusing or too bloated for the starting point i'd want.

Are there any guides beyond the javadoc available to get me started?

Hi Thormgrim,

The Ray Wenderlich tutorial is probably the best guide to start with: https://www.raywenderlich.com/637-researchstack-tutorial-getting-started

Best,

As far as I can tell, the Sage Bridge is just an implementation for the DataProvider. You can provide your own implementation for the DataProvider and the rest of the Sample or MoleMapper apps would still be relevant. At least that's my strategy, but I agree with your points about documentation and getting started.

I'm currently now using only the backbone, it seems to work thus far, but I haven't found the possibility to change the actual design of the survey.
Such as localization etc.
Else it seems to work fine without the Skin Part.
