Hello FYAers,

The February FYA Book Club meeting went well despite some hiccups where we read different books (my fault, I didn't send out the email with the title & author--sorry everyone!). Despite this, Holly, Michelle, and I made it through all the questions from both selections! The February selection is a feminist novel set in a dystopian future, in the vein of The Handmaid's Tale (here's hoping it doesn't read like a contemporary news article!!!). As always, folks are welcome even if they haven't read/listened to the book, if you just want to drop by and say hi!

Hello FYAers,

The March FYA is done and dusted and wow was it a good one! I think all three of us actually really liked the book, so if you're reading this and didn't get through The Grace Year I think it's worth giving a shot. The audiobook also has a 20 min interview with the author at the end that was very interesting. The April selection is about a young writer who is attending architecture school and gets the chance to compete to design a home for her favorite in-world literary icon. As always, folks are welcome even if they haven't read/listened to the book, if you just want to drop by and say hi!
