Hello FYAers,

We had a great turnout for the August book club and some good discussion of the book and other topics! I think all of us really enjoyed A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking and would recommend it to any of you who haven't picked it up yet. The book for September is set in 1954 during the Red Scare and has a lot of interesting details about intersecting identities during a period in American society when tolerance of difference was at a low point. I think it'll make for some great conversations. As always, folks are welcome even if they haven't read/listened to the book, if you just want to drop by and say hi!

Also, has anyone been able to get the book in any format for free? Wake County has a long waiting list for print and hasn't ordered ebook or audio book.
