Hello!

Just a quick note to introduce myself/re-introduce myself. I'm Alwyn! Author but a more importantly a reader and a member of FYA Bookclub since long before I had my own books out in the world! In fact, I've been a member of the London branch since the very first meeting (I remember we met at the South Bank Center and discussed Beauty Queens by Libba Bray). 

I have a new YA book coming out imminently (THE NOTORIOUS VIRTUES). We were talking about the UK launch on Saturday because so many of the FYA London girls are coming to it. And it made me want to extend the invite to other FYA branches in the cities that I'm going to on my US tour the following week!

Looking at the list on the website, the places that I am going to that have FYA branches are Georgia, North Carolina and L.A. (tragically no Pacific North West Branches!) If it's at all appropriate to do so would love to put out the word to any interested FYA members in the area that these events are happening!

Events are listed here. Should be a really fun time and since FYA has played such a part in my YA reading for so many years would just be cool to see some international bookclub faces there :-)
