Part I : Say whether the following statements are True (T) or False

1. Peer-assessment is a practical way to evaluate without the the
presence of the instructor. F
2. Questionnaires and interview are formal and structured ways of
data collection. They are made of a set of questions and statements. T
3. When writing tests, we should merely focus lexical and semantic
considerations to avoid misreading the test. F
4. Progress tests and achievement tests are both related to content. T
5. Alternative assessment is based on evaluation without tests. T
6. The two ways of recording observations in the classroom are

7. When considering types of validity, both concurrent validity and

Part II : Complete the following passage with the appropriate

For the test constructor to asure a valid and reliable test, he
should go through the stages of TEST CONSTRUCTION First, he should
PLAN his test by deciding upon its form. This stage includes the TYPE
of the test, the NUMBER OF ITEMS, TIME allotted. The second stage is
writing its DIRECTIONS/CHARACTERISTICS Here, the test constructor
should not be AMBIGUOUS Finally, he should REVIEW items either by
LETTING THE EXAM FOR SOME TIME AND REVIEW IT LATER or DISCUSSING IT
WITH PEERS OR EXPERTS.

- Be concise, precise accurate since your language accuracy counts in
the evaluation process. Grammatical errors have been considered in the
evaluation process)
