I’m currently working with Jerry Rushford on the Washington book (the one he’s been “writing” since we finished the Oregon book 10 years ago). I also wrote the history of the women missionaries in Japan (Messengers of the Risen Son in the Land of the Rising Sun) that Leafwood published a couple of years ago. And I’m currently researching the women who preached in the SCM in the early 19th century. I did a brief paper on that at the Christian Scholars Conference a few years ago so I need a lot more information about the Christian Connection since most of them were active in that movement before Stone and Campbell came on the scene.

I really appreciate having a place to share research information. Thanks,

Bonnie

Bonnie,

Thanks for your interest in the Google Group for Stone-Campbell Movement research.

Since I am not familiar with you, what areas of research on the SCM are you interested in? Are you in the process of writing about or researching on a particular person or subject?

Kind regards,

Jim
