Dns lost all information

a wile back my resara server lost all of its dns information. it has not been a big deal until i try to add a computer to the domain. where should i start and what should i do.

I am running this in a virtual box VM

Have a look at your /etc/bind/zones/domain.name.db file. Does it exist? If so, can you attach it to your reply?
