Welcome to the second issue of our third year (albeit the first two years were intermittent at best!) – we’re on some kind of roll now. :-) But seriously, thanks for sticking with ResAliens as we move from a hobby in my virtual garage to a token market pub to (we hope one day) a semi-pro zine. In this issue I’m excited to feature some artwork, introduce 3 new-to-these-pages authors, and bring back a veteran writer to headline 3.2.

That would be George L. Duncan who returns to RA with another Spacehawk Adventure, “Infinity In Her Eyes.” It’s an exciting SF piece about an “unfallen” race. Next up is a speculative flash fiction about seeing beyond the veil called “Vision” by Tiel Aisha Ansari, a Sufi poet from the Pacific Northwest. Following this is a featured artist interview with Rob Crandall, who also is the author of over 40 short stories (one of which was going to appear in these pages, but I was too slow in accepting it and it sold elsewhere!). Two more flash fictions round out this issue: the first one, “The Pilgrimage” by T. W. Ambrose is science fiction about wanting to see God face to face, and the last one, “What Jesus Said” by Jonathan Pinnock is a humorous and ironic speculative vignette about greed.

I hope you enjoy this month’s offerings. Feel free to leave comments for the authors at the bottom of their stories. We’ll chat with you next month. Your fellow alien, Lyn
