Funnily enough on my FreeBSD desktop there is a libpagemaker installed as dependency for LibreOffice and Scribus (an open source DTP program). I remember it being installed and it raised a curious eyebrow for me. So it seems that both of those programs would be worth trying. YMMV. I'm guessing they would be able to extract text as a minimum.
I have some files which are in p65 format, there are lots of such file. I am exporting all such file in html and parsing with my script. But suddenly i realize it is not returning font information. I don't want all font info. as such but symbol font in particular i want. Otherwise it shows simple character instead of symbol. I know p65 is old format and now indesign is supported but. Is there any way i can get html with font info from Adobe pagemaker 7.0 p65 file?
I have run into a lot of resources saying adobe pagemaker does not work on windows 7 or later. I need to use it for school, I have windows 10. Any known fixes? Does it work and they just say it doesn't because of it being an old Adobe program? Thanks ?
