Position:    Oracle EBS Consultant          

Location:   Philadelphia, Pennsylvania    

Client:         City of Philadelphia

Job Description:

Required Skills & Experience: Technical Skills: A minimum of Ten (10) years of IT Experience is required 7+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS DBA with expertise in versions 12.1 and 12.2 on the WINDOWS Server Operating System Strong knowledge of Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c), including RMAN, Data Guard, and performance tuning. Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 upgrade processes, including ADOP (Online Patching), WebLogic, and Fusion Middleware. Proficiency in cloning, backup/recovery, patching, and migration of EBS environments. Strong knowledge of Windows environments, scripting, and automation. Hands-on experience with Oracle Applications DBA (AD utilities, AutoConfig, ADOP, rapid clone, etc.). Experience in customization impact assessment, and code remediation. Understanding of Oracle Security, Concurrent Processing, and Application Tier Architecture. Highly Desired/Preferred: Experience with Oracle performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization Ability to provide technical guidance to business and executive audiences in clear, concise, understandable, and actionable terms Soft Skills & Other Requirements: Ability to lead and execute complex upgrade projects with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work in high-pressure, dynamic environments with tight deadlines. Certification in Oracle DBA or EBS is a plus.
