About the Project:
The State of Minnesota is implementing an integration platform (iPaaS) to modernize eligibility systems. The first major initiative focuses on integrating the legacy MAXIS system with the MN benefits online application through a new Worker Interface. This effort aims to reduce manual data entry, improve worker experience, and enable scalable, long-term system modernization across county and Tribal agencies.
What You’ll Be Working On: - Lead implementation of a Worker Interface connecting legacy and modern systems
- Drive stakeholder engagement across counties and Tribal Nations
- Oversee pilot program execution with 4–7 local agencies
- Lead training, adoption, and change management efforts
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and feedback loops to refine requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MNIT, DCYF, DHS, vendors)
- Support statewide rollout strategy based on pilot outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure successful adoption and usability of the Worker Interface
- Translate business needs into user stories, requirements, and backlog items
- Align workflows with policy, compliance, and operational realities
- Lead stakeholder communication and coordination at all levels
- Drive human-centered design principles into product development
- Identify risks, constraints, and ensure delivery alignment with program goals
Deliverables You’ll Own:
- Build and manage relationships with pilot counties and Tribal agencies
- Lead onboarding, engagement, and readiness planning for pilot participants
- Drive requirements gathering, documentation, and prioritization
- Facilitate communication between local agencies and technical teams
- Support iterative design, testing, and deployment of the Worker Interface
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience as a Product Lead / Program Lead in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Deep understanding of Agile delivery, product lifecycle, and iterative design
- Proven ability to work across government, local agencies, or regulated environments
- Experience with system integration, digital transformation, or iPaaS initiatives
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership
- Ability to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap with clarity and confidence
