About the Role:
Wesley Community Center is seeking a senior Lead Engineer / Technical Lead to drive its enterprise IT modernization program. This role will lead architecture, cloud migration, Microsoft 365 modernization, cybersecurity improvements, network transformation, disaster recovery planning, and operational readiness initiatives.
The selected consultant will serve as the primary technical authority for the project and own the overall technical strategy, implementation, documentation, and acceptance of all deployed solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Azure and Microsoft 365 modernization initiatives
- Migrate legacy Active Directory environments to Azure AD (Entra ID)
- Design and implement Intune and Endpoint Manager solutions
- Lead Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Defender deployments
- Implement MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, SSO, and Secure Score improvements
- Design network modernization, segmentation, and wireless infrastructure upgrades
- Implement cybersecurity solutions including Defender, SentinelOne, Ironscales, SaaS Alerts, and Bitwarden
- Develop backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
- Create architecture diagrams, asset inventories, SOPs, and technical documentation
- Lead technical assessments, migration planning, and system acceptance activities
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering experience
- Strong Microsoft Azure expertise
- Strong Microsoft 365 Administration experience
- Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager expertise
- Network Architecture and Engineering experience
- Cybersecurity Engineering experience
- Multi-site Infrastructure experience
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity planning experience
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator
- Microsoft Security Administrator
- CISSP
- CCNP
- Security+
- Fortinet NSE Certifications
Ideal Candidate:
This is not a traditional systems administrator role. The ideal candidate is a senior infrastructure architect or technical lead who has successfully delivered cloud migrations, Microsoft 365 transformations, cybersecurity initiatives, and enterprise network modernization projects while serving as the primary technical decision-maker.
