Job Description:

Back End Web Developer:  This engineer will focus on the backend development of the web application, combining the functionality of the existing Java and Angular applications and ensuring the backend services can fully support the new user interface and foundational capabilities.   Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or engineering field from a recognized college or university. A recognized college or university is defined as an institution of higher learning approved by the Office of Higher Education of any given state or a foreign college or university of comparable standing.                                          or Eight (8) years of experience related to MQ 2 below (i.e., minimum of four (4) years + four (4) additional qualifying years).- Must attach Degree(s) or demonstrate additional qualifying experience below to meet the minimum qualifications and, where applicable, obtain points for desirable qualifications.   Four (4) years of experience in back-end web applications, open-source web programming languages and frameworks, emerging technologies and trends, and best development practices.   Four (4) years of experience in the development of web applications utilizing Java/Spring Boot.   Two (2) years of software engineering experience developing and maintaining applications that use and Oracle database as the backend.   Desirable Qualification: Master’s degree or doctorate in an IT-related or Engineering field from a recognized college or university. A recognized college or university is defined as an institution of higher learning approved by the Office of Higher Education of any given state or a foreign college or university of comparable standing. If no master’s degree, resource would need to demonstrate an additional two (2) years of experience, in addition to the experience used to meet MQ 1, to earn points. - Must attach Degree(s) or demonstrate additional qualifying experience below to meet the minimum qualifications and, where applicable, obtain points for desirable qualifications. Five (5) years of experience in back-end web applications, open-source web programming languages and frameworks, emerging technologies and trends, and best development practices. Five (5) years of experience in the development of web applications utilizing Java/Spring Boot. Three (3) years of software engineering experience developing and maintaining applications that use and Oracle database as the backend.
