About the Role:
This role focuses on designing and enhancing user experiences for a Dynamics 365-based case management system (DigCase). You’ll work on improving usability, workflows, and dashboards to support enforcement processes and multiple user groups within the organization.
Scope of the Project:
The project involves building and configuring a SaaS-based solution to manage enforcement processes, including designing user interfaces, dashboards, workflows, and portals while ensuring alignment with existing Dataverse structures and SharePoint integrations.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and analyze business processes
- Design and improve user interfaces, workflows, and dashboards
- Develop UX designs for Dynamics 365 and SaaS-based solutions
- Create prototypes, templates, and user journey flows
- Collaborate with technical teams for implementation alignment
- Gather user feedback and refine designs for usability improvements
- Support documentation, training materials, and user adoption
- Ensure solutions align with business goals and user needs
Required Skills (Ranked):
- 3+ years experience with Dynamics 365, Power BI, and process automation
- Experience designing user interfaces and workflows for enterprise systems
- Experience with electronic signature platforms (e.g., DocuSign)
- 1+ year experience designing web-based UI for CRM/DRM platforms
- Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, and user-centered design
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with State of California agencies
- Additional experience in UX consulting and enterprise system design
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Environment and Tools:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Power BI
- Dataverse
- SharePoint
- SaaS platforms
Additional Skills:
- Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to translate business needs into intuitive UX designs
- Strong documentation and process mapping skills
- Ability to work in structured, compliance-driven environments
This is not a generic UI design role you’re expected to work within enterprise systems (Dynamics 365) and improve real workflows, not just visuals. If your experience is limited to basic UI/UX or design tools without system-level exposure, it won’t hold up.
