Position:    Oracle EBS Developer          

Location:   Seattle, Washington    

Client:         King County

Required Skill Set and Experience : The Senior Application Developer consultant selected for this position is required to have the following experience and expertise: 1.    Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with experience in the following modules: Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, Advanced Collections, Order Management, Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory, General Ledger, Projects/Grants, iExpense and Shared HR 2.    Multiple integration technologies to support integrations between modules and with various side systems. 3.    Technical Skills: Shell Script, SQL, PL/SQL, OAF, SOA, Webservices, BPEL, Forms, Reports, Workflow (AME), JDeveloper, XML and other Oracle EBS specific skills  4.    Understand development methodologies and SDLC processes. 5.    Proven experience as an EBS Application Developer using Oracle databases and tools. 6.    Expert technical analysis, communication, and documentation skills. 7.    10-12 + years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite.   Description of Task/Service  The consultant selected for this work order will be responsible for the following tasks:  1.    Developing complex customizations, workflows, interfaces/integrations and reports.  Unit testing of developed objects prior to migration for functional and integration testing.   2.    Preparing documentation, such as Technical Design Specifications. 3.    Providing production support.  This includes troubleshooting break/fix issues, resolving technically complex software defects, and conducting performance tuning.   4.    Acting as the highest level escalation point for technical application support.   5.    When required, logging Service Requests with Oracle and working with Oracle to resolve defects.   6.    Providing assistance, coordinating and troubleshooting with side system analysts, developers, and business owners for interface support.  7.    Participating in code reviews and ensuring compliance to development standards and best practices.  Applying standard development practices throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC). 8.    Potential involvement in complex development work and application patches.  9.    Perform routine audits of systems/software and troubleshooting performance issues with components like BPEL and Workflow. 10.    Reviewing requirements and participating in the definition of solution options. 11.    Review/enhance existing interfaces/integrations, personalizations, customizations, OAF enhancements and Oracle custom reports. 12.    Conduct knowledge transfer to KC Developer(s). 13.    Additional tasks as assigned.   Consultant Deliverables: The deliverables for this contract are identified below: 1.    Documented technical design specifications. 2.    Develop and test EBS and other related objects. 3.    Unit testing documentation including test cases, testing execution, and the documentation of test results. 4.    Knowledge transfer via scheduled in-person sessions and documentation. 5.    Weekly status reports/timesheets identifying progress, status, and issues. 6.    Additional deliverables as assigned.
