Background:
This role focuses on designing, configuring, and developing SAP Business Intelligence solutions and integration workflows for City operations. The developer leads BI/BOBJ data modeling, reporting, dashboard development, and ETL processes. They also support PI/PO interface development, mapping, communication channels, and cross-system data processing. The role ensures accurate, timely, and secure data movement across SAP and non-SAP systems.
 
SAP BI / BOBJ Responsibilities

• Design and configure BI data models including InfoProviders, InfoCubes, DSOs/ODS, BOBJ Universes, and Data Services ETL flows.
• Develop Web Intelligence reports, Crystal Reports, Lumira dashboards, and SAP BO Dashboards.
• Perform data extraction and ETL from R/3 and non-R/3 systems into BI.
• Conduct BI performance tuning and query optimization.
• Build semantic layers and universes using BOBJ tools.
• Work with SAP and external databases to support analytics and reporting.

SAP PI / PO Integration Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interfaces in SAP PI/PO including Sender/Receiver Agreements, Message Mappings, Operation Mappings.
• Work with PI domains such as Proxy framework, mapping tools, adapter engine, communication channels, and integration server.
• Configure and support adapters including IDoc, RFC, SOAP, File, JMS.
• Utilize System Landscape Directory (SLD), Integration Directory, and Integration Repository.
• Maintain central monitoring, message tracking, and error handling for PI/PO integrations.
• Ensure security, authentication, and encryption across integration flows.

Required Skills

• Strong SAP BI/BOBJ development and data modeling expertise.
• Experience with ETL, data extraction, and analytics architecture.
• Hands-on SAP PI/PO integration with multiple adapters.
• Deep understanding of mapping techniques (Graphical, XSLT, Java-based).
• Knowledge of City business processes in FILO, HCM, and cross-functional flows (preferred).
