Public Sector Experience (Preferably within the education domain) and certified consultants are expected
I’m working with the New York City Department of Education (DOE) on an opportunity and wanted to connect regarding a .NET Developer (.NET Core / Azure / Microservices) role.
Please review the details below and let me know if you’re interested. If so, share your resume, rate expectations, and availability.
Client: New York City Department of Education (DOE)
Job ID: RFQ1807467S_4
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Onsite/Hybrid TBD)
Duration: 3+ years
This role supports DOE’s Session Time Applications Modernization Initiative, focused on replacing legacy scheduling and compliance systems with a modern, scalable platform. You’ll work on enterprise-level .NET application development, integrations, compliance workflows, and modernization efforts.
The focus is on building a centralized platform for calendar management, session scheduling, compliance validation, reporting, and workflow automation, while integrating with existing DOE enterprise systems.
This is not a basic .NET maintenance role you’re expected to work on enterprise modernization, scalable architecture, and complex integrations. If someone only has CRUD application experience, they won’t keep up here.
Thanks,
Sheldon Fernandez
