Rate: $65/hr C2C
Location: Miami, FL (onsite 3 days/week)
Duration: 6+months
Job Description
· Resource Level: Senior Manager – Associate Director
· This consultant will be supervising Protiviti resources and client resources for an IT SOX engagement.
· Perform walkthroughs of the key processes and obtain in depth understanding of the risks over financial statements and related disclosures
· Perform design and operating effectiveness assessments of the controls over financial statements and related disclosures
· Document accurate, logical, and detailed workpapers clearly describing the tests, result of work performed, and conclusions reached
· Identify deficiencies in the control design and operating effectiveness
· Assists with planning work on assigned segments of an audit; executes audit program and standards to assigned audits.
· Reviews transactions, documents, records, reports, and methods for accuracy and effectiveness.
· Conducts interviews and develops and administers surveys to collect data and evidence.
· Participates in preliminary discussions of audit deficiencies with management to verify and obtain explanations and reasons for deficiencies and document responses.
· Prepares acceptable working papers that record and summarize data on the assigned audit segment.
· Reports audit findings and makes recommendations for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions, improvements in operations, and reductions in cos
· Perform status and analysis to management on the status of SOX controls and issues identified.
· Contribute to the Internal Audit team through valuable recommendations and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support a ‘trusted advisor’ reputation
· Demonstrate ownership of assigned audits and control testing by effective task management and proactively communicating potential issues with IA leadership and management
