Role: Mainframe Assembler Programmer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: Long Term Contract
Rate:$65/hr onC2C
Responsibilities:
· Mainframe Assembler Programmer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in coding and maintaining mainframe assembler programs ( Cobol, JCL, VSAM, Db2, Assembler, CICS, Mainframe Utilities etc.,) to ensure the efficient functioning of our mainframe systems. As a Mainframe Assembler Programmer, you will collaborate with other IT professionals
· The lead will oversee the development, maintenance, and support of mainframe applications and systems. He will be responsible for leading 1 to 2 teams, ensuring code quality, managing projects, and guiding modernization efforts, including cloud migration.
· Key responsibilities include incident resolution, problem analysis, change management, and leading team members in various mainframe technologies like COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
· Additional responsibilities include develop and enhance applications, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and contribute to the optimization of our mainframe Environment
