Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior SAP CO-PC Consultant with deep expertise in Product Costing and Material Ledger (Actual Costing). The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manufacturing environments, handling end-to-end costing processes, production order lifecycle, and complex month-end closing activities. This is a remote, long-term opportunity with high ownership and stakeholder interaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end SAP CO-PC implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.
· Own and manage Material Ledger (Actual Costing) including CKMLCP execution and troubleshooting.
· Handle production order lifecycle:
· Order creation, confirmations, variance analysis, and settlement
· Drive cost roll-up and standard cost estimates across plants.
· Configure and optimize:
· Cost component structures
· Costing variants & valuation variants
· Activity types and cost centers
· Ensure accurate inventory valuation and FI-CO reconciliation.
· Lead month-end and year-end closing activities:
· WIP calculation
· Variance calculation
· Settlement
· Actual costing run
· Work closely with PP, MM, and FI teams for seamless integration.
· Provide solution design, business consulting, and process improvements.
· Support UAT, testing cycles, and production stabilization.
· Mentor junior consultants and guide business users.
Required Skills
· 10+ years of strong hands-on experience in SAP CO-PC (Product Costing).
· Mandatory expertise in Material Ledger (Actual Costing).
· Deep knowledge of Production/process order costing
· Cost roll-up & standard costing
· Inventory valuation & price determination
· Strong experience in month-end closing processes.
· Excellent integration knowledge with MM, PP, and FI modules.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
