Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Java, Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing scalable backend applications, APIs, and microservices in enterprise environments.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Java (Java 8/11/17+)

Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security

Strong expertise in Node.js

Experience developing applications using TypeScript

Hands-on experience with GraphQL API development

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture

Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms

Strong SQL and database experience (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)

Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases

Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Node.js.

Build and enhance GraphQL APIs and backend services.

Develop enterprise-grade microservices using Spring Boot.

Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Create technical documentation and contribute to architecture discussions.

Preferred Skills

AWS or Azure Cloud experience

Docker and Kubernetes

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

Terraform

Redis

Event-driven architecture

Financial Services or Banking domain experience
