AWS Data Lead / AWS Data Engineering Lead
Location: Fort Mill, SC (Onsite) - 15+ Years – Only Locals
Need Financial Clients EXPERIENCE

Key Skills Required:

• 10+ years of Data Engineering/Data Platform experience
• Strong expertise in AWS Data Services – Glue, Lambda, S3
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and data integration frameworks
• Experience designing and implementing scalable data architectures and ETL pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Spark performance tuning and optimization
• Expertise in data quality, governance, security, and compliance
• Experience migrating legacy data platforms and leading Sqoop-to-AWS Glue transitions
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud-native architectures
• Ability to lead teams and drive end-to-end data engineering initiatives

Preferred Skills:

• AWS certifications
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem, EMR, Redshift, and modern data lake solutions
• Financial services domain experience is a plus.
