BaaN Tester
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite
✈️ Travel: Must be willing to travel within the US and Mexico as required.
💼 Employment: Contract

We are looking for an experienced BaaN Tester with strong expertise in testing ERP applications built on the BaaN/LN platform. The ideal candidate should have experience in functional, integration, and regression testing, along with a solid understanding of ERP business processes such as Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for BaaN/LN ERP applications.
• Perform Functional, System Integration (SIT), Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• Validate business processes across BaaN ERP modules.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test scripts.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Functional Consultants to resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Ensure application quality by validating enhancements, patches, and production fixes.
• Prepare test execution reports and maintain testing documentation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in ERP Testing with BaaN ERP/Infor LN.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes.
• Experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, SIT, and UAT.
• Hands-on experience in test case creation and defect lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infor LN implementations or upgrades.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, Warehouse Management, or Supply Chain modules.
• Experience in test automation is an added advantage.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
• ISTQB Certification is preferred.
