Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud) Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting cloud-based data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC, with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica IDMC, including Cloud Data Integration, Application Integration, and Data Quality services.
- Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data integration requirements.
- Build scalable, efficient, and reusable data pipelines to support real-time and batch data processing.
- Develop and optimize mappings, workflows, and tasks in IDMC to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IDMC pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
- Leverage REST APIs, connectors, and third-party integrations within IDMC to connect to various cloud and on-premises systems.
- Participate in data migration and modernization projects, moving legacy ETL jobs to IDMC cloud-based pipelines.
- Ensure proper documentation and version control of all development artifacts.
- Stay current on Informatica’s product updates and best practices in data integration and cloud data platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Informatica tools, with 1+ year in Informatica IDMC / IICS (Intelligent Cloud Services).
- Proficiency in developing complex ETL mappings and workflows using IDMC Cloud Data Integration.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML for integrations.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data governance.
- Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
