Denodo (virtualization, semantic layers, caching)

• Design and deliver Denodo data virtualization solutions providing unified, real-time access across heterogeneous sources without physical replication.
• Build and optimize base views, derived views, and semantic/business layers to expose governed, reusable data services to BI and analytics consumers.
• Implement caching strategies (full, partial, incremental) and query optimization to ensure performance and minimize load on source systems.
• Integrate diverse data sources (databases, APIs, files, cloud) and create logical data models exposed via SQL, REST, and OData endpoints.
• Collaborate with data architects and governance teams to enforce security, row/column-level access, and data lineage.
• Apply strong SQL, VQL, query performance tuning, and data modeling skills, with an understanding of logical data fabric and data mesh concepts.
• Preferred: experience integrating Denodo with Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, and cloud storage, and with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Desirable: solid grasp of caching, MPP execution, and cost-based optimization within the Denodo Platform.
