Location: Mclean, VA (Hybrid)

Client is Hexaware/Freddie Mac
Rate $65/Hour on C2C
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and transformation.
- Write and deploy Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to build scalable data solutions.
- Implement data models that support analytics and business intelligence reporting.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance for structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and maintain APIs for data access and integration with various systems.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in financial services.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift), GCP (BigQuery), or Azure (Data Factory, Synapse).
- Proficiency in ETL tools and big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, Kafka, or Flink.
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI-driven analytics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
