Role: Enterprise Solutions Architect – Retail (S5 STRATOS)
Location: Bay Area, CA (REMOTE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end S5 STRATOS architecture solutions aligned with retail business processes and goals.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to define technical requirements and system roadmaps.
• Provide architecture leadership across retail applications, POS systems, e-commerce, inventory, and supply chain solutions.
• Ensure architecture standards, best practices, and governance are consistently followed.
• Drive system integration with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise platforms.
• Conduct architecture reviews, proof of concepts, and guide technical teams through implementation.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging retail technologies, and recommend innovative solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–10 years of proven experience as a Solution/Enterprise/Technical Architect, with strong exposure to the retail industry.
• Expertise in S5 STRATOS platform architecture and implementation, specifically for assortment planning and merchandise planning.
• Strong knowledge of retail systems: POS, order management, merchandising, e-commerce, and inventory management.
• Experience in system integration (ERP, CRM, middleware, APIs).
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern architecture principles (microservices, event-driven).
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect) or retail-specific certifications.
• Prior consulting or end-client engagement experience with large-scale retail enterprises.
• Exposure to emerging retail technologies (e.g., AI in retail, mobile commerce, customer experience platforms).
