Summary
Requires 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality, resilient, and secure applications, specifically using Java/Spring Boot and React. The role involves working within agile, cloud-native (AWS) environments, utilizing Kafka for messaging, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub) for automated delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Full Stack Development: Design and develop end-to-end applications from UI (React/Angular) to backend (Java 11/17+, Spring Boot).
· System Design & Implementation: Build scalable Microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.
· Cloud & DevOps: Deploy services on AWS, using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Git).
· Data Management: Utilize relational (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis).
· Quality Assurance: Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit, Mockito, and frontend testing tools.
· Collaboration: Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and cross-functional team collaborations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience.
· Languages: Strong proficiency in Java, Python (as a plus), and JavaScript.
· Frameworks/Libraries: Spring Boot, React, Angular.
· Databases: SQL, NoSQL.
· Infrastructure: AWS (or similar cloud), Kafka, Docker.
· Methodologies: Agile, CI/CD, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Security.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in the financial services domain.
· Knowledge of monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
· Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
