SR. SOLUTION ARCHITECT Architecture & strategy

Target-state architecture — Define and own the CPQ and quote-to-cash architecture across configuration, pricing, ABO/subscriptions, order orchestration, and integration.

Roadmap ownership — Set the multi-release technical roadmap, including the path toward Oracle CPQ running in Fusion and the migration away from middleware-heavy integration patterns.

Decision authority — Make and document foundational and critical design decisions (KDDs) — pricing architecture, UI framework, integration patterns, data and asset models.

Standards & governance — Establish architecture principles, reference patterns, reusable assets, and review gates; chair architecture review boards.

Integration & platform

Integration architecture — Own CPQ ↔ Fusion Order Management and Subscription Management design — REST, integration events, OIC orchestration, and native (BMF) patterns — and decide build-vs-native trade-offs.

Non-functional ownership — Ensure scalability, performance, security, resilience, and identity (OCI IAM) across the platform.

Emerging capabilities — Evaluate and guide adoption of AI-assisted and agentic capabilities in quoting and order automation, keeping commercially sensitive logic governed and auditable.

Leadership & delivery

Technical leadership — Lead and mentor solution architects, leads, and senior consultants; set the technical bar across workstreams.

Stakeholder management — Act as senior technical advisor to client executives, product owners, and program leadership; translate business strategy into architecture.

Risk & quality — Own architectural risk (RAID), technical debt strategy, upgrade readiness, and delivery quality across the program.

Pre-sales / advisory — Contribute to solution shaping, estimation, and proposals where required.

Required:

·         Oracle CPQ across Commerce/Standard Process, configuration & BOM rules, the pricing engine, ABO and subscription lifecycle, and BML/BMQL.

·         Quote-to-cash and quote-to-order architecture spanning CPQ, Order Management, Subscription Management, and billing.

·         Integration architecture — REST APIs, integration events, event-driven and middleware (OIC) patterns, and native platform integration.

·         Data and asset modeling for complex, multi-level, multi-quantity structures and recurring-revenue scenarios.

Non-functional architecture — performance, scalability, security, identity, and resilience at enterprise scale
