Job Title : SAP TCM Trade Commodity Management
Client: Food Industry
Remote with 40% travel 
Rate: $90/hr


Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP TCM (Trade and Commodity Management) Consultant/Architect to support our client’s SAP S/4HANA implementation and optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP TCM, Commodity Pricing, Risk Management, and Logistics Execution, along with hands-on integration experience across related SAP modules.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP TCM (Trade and Commodity Management) solutions.
  • Work closely with business users to understand trading processes, commodity risk exposure, and physical logistics.
  • Configure and integrate TCM with modules such as SD, MM, TM, ETRM/CTR, and Finance (FI/CO).
  • Define and implement commodity pricing, risk valuation, and exposure management functionalities.
  • Support the design of trade capture, risk reporting, and settlement processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and test custom enhancements, FIORI apps, and integration interfaces.
  • Conduct system testing, user training, and post-go-live support.
  • Provide functional expertise and best practices for TCM within SAP S/4HANA environment.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8–12 years of overall SAP experience, with at least 3–5 years in SAP TCM.
  • Strong understanding of commodity trade lifecycle, including physical trade capture, pricing, hedging, risk valuation, and settlement.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA TCM add-on or SAP Commodity Management (CM).
  • Proficiency in integration with SD, MM, TM, and FI modules.
  • Good knowledge of commodity pricing engine (CPE) and commodity risk management (CRM) processes.
  • Ability to interact with business stakeholders and translate requirements into functional specifications.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

 

SAP TPM Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP TPM (Trade Promotion Management) Consultant to support our client’s SAP S/4HANA and SAP CRM-based TPM solution. The consultant will be responsible for implementing and optimizing trade promotion processes, including planning, budgeting, fund management, settlement, and analytics, in alignment with business strategies across sales and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP TPM, SAP CRM Marketing, SD, and BI/BO integration, with hands-on experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or Retail industries.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solutions.
  • Work with business users to define and streamline trade promotion planning, fund management, accruals, and settlement processes.
  • Configure promotion types, planning layouts, condition maintenance, and settlement workflows.
  • Integrate TPM with SAP SD, FI/CO, BW/BI, and CRM systems to enable end-to-end process visibility.
  • Support the planning, budgeting, and forecasting of trade spends and ensure accurate fund utilization tracking.
  • Manage claims, deductions, and settlement processes linked to trade promotions.
  • Work closely with technical teams for data integration, analytics, and reporting.
  • Conduct unit testing, UAT, training, and post-go-live support for TPM functionalities.
  • Provide best practices and process improvements aligned with business and system capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8–12 years of total SAP experience with at least 4–5 years in SAP TPM implementation or support.
  • Strong functional expertise in Trade Promotion Management (CRM or S/4HANA), including Planning, Fund Management, and Claims.
  • Integration experience with SD (Sales & Distribution) for pricing, condition records, and billing.
  • Experience with BW/BI for trade analytics and performance reporting.
  • Knowledge of Master Data used in TPM — customers, products, trade funds, and hierarchies.
  • Familiarity with SAP CRM Marketing, Trade Funds Management (TFM), and Trade Claims Management modules.
  • Experience in Consumer Goods, Retail, or Food & Beverage industries preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
