Job Summary
We are seeking a Workday Financials/Professional Services Automation Senior Principal Consultant for a remote role supporting a client in the EST timezone. This is a critical leadership position within Global Application Managed Services (AMS). The ideal candidate must be a well-experienced post-production professional with an expert understanding of the Workday Financials domain. Workday Professional Services Automation (PSA) certification is mandatory. You will serve as the onshore lead, managing the Workday Financials and PSA workstreams for assigned accounts, collaborating with offshore teams, and driving continuous process improvements and high business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the onshore lead for the Workday Professional Services Automation & Financials workstream.
- Collaborate with offshore/nearshore teams on day-to-day activities, incidents, and root cause analysis.
- Translate business requirements into effective Workday Financial configurations.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize Workday Financials processes and configurations.
- Lead the day-to-day management of Workday Financials solutions, including reporting, security, and data audits.
- Oversee system regression testing for Workday product releases.
- Ensure team delivers project deliverables on time and adheres to SLA constructs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Workday Professional Services Automation certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Corporate Applications portfolio experience.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in client-facing managed services roles within a global delivery model.
- Expert level understanding of the Workday Financials domain.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex incidents and provide best practices.
- Ability to multitask, effectively prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
