Role: Network Engineer

Location: Kennet Square, PA or Oak Brook Terrace, IL (3 days onsite from Day 1) - Only Locals

Duration: 6-12+ months

Visa: USC and GC

 

Skills/Experience needed:

• Hybrid role from Day 1 (NO EXCEPTION)
• MUST have worked in an enterprise network environment for any fortune 200 company

• 8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a Cisco environment.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches (configuration, deployment, and support).
• Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies (exposure level acceptable).
• Experience with ticketing/change request processes in enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
• Certifications:
• CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate (required).
• CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional (required).

• Experience to network automation tools, including:
• Ansible (well-versed in YAML).
• Python scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
• Ability to work independently while supporting large, cross-functional teams.
• Utility sector experience will be a huge plus
