Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks, AWS, Java, and Python to design, develop, and optimize large-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building cloud-native data solutions, implementing scalable data pipelines, and leveraging AI/ML capabilities in enterprise environments.
Candidates must be local to the Boston area and available to work onsite in North Quincy, MA.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and data engineering
- Strong hands-on development experience with Java and Python
- Deep expertise in building and supporting large-scale data engineering platforms
- Extensive experience with Databricks on AWS
- Strong proficiency with Apache Spark and PySpark
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures on AWS
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and data management best practices
- Practical experience applying AI/ML tools and techniques within production environments
