Summary:
· The Data Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into data requirements and ensuring successful delivery of analytics solutions on the new data platform.
· This role is critical to driving clarity, alignment, and value from data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data and reporting solutions.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and data sources.
· Translate business needs into functional specifications for Snowflake, DBT, Power BI, and SQL Server implementations.
· Support data modeling and validation efforts with engineering and BI teams.
· Conduct gap analysis and propose data-driven solutions to business problems.
· Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews.
· Create user stories and acceptance criteria for data-related features.
· Assist in UAT and ensure solutions meet business expectations.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data or analytics projects.
· Experience in Pharmaceutical / Healthcare domain is preferred
· Strong understanding of data platforms and tools: Snowflake, Power BI, DBT, SQL Server.
· Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
· Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to write clear and concise documentation, user stories, and process flows.
· Familiarity with data governance, quality, and compliance
