Technical Business Analyst – LCNC & Orchestration

• Job Title: Business Analyst
• Location: Hybrid – Chicago, IL (Criminal and DT clearance required)
• Pay Rate: $60/hr
• Experience Required: 7+ Years
• Specialization: Process Orchestration & Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC)

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with over 7 years of experience to drive digital transformation initiatives, specifically focusing on process orchestration and Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) platforms like OutSystems. You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, extracting complex business logic and translating high-level needs into detailed functional specifications. The ideal candidate has a deep background in Agile methodologies and a proven track record of managing the full requirements lifecycle, from initial stakeholder workshops to final validation and testing support.

 

Technical Core & Responsibilities

Requirements Engineering & Logic Extraction

• Elicitation & Analysis: Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to define business needs and translate them into BRDs, Functional Specifications, and User Stories.
• Logic Mapping: Specialized in the extraction of existing calculation and business logic to ensure accurate migration or integration into new digital platforms.
• Traceability: Maintain comprehensive Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) to ensure every business need is addressed during the development and testing phases.

LCNC & Process Orchestration

• Platform Integration: Work specifically on projects involving LCNC platforms (e.g., OutSystems) and process orchestration tools to accelerate digital delivery.
• Gap Analysis: Analyze existing "as-is" processes to identify functional gaps and design "to-be" workflows that optimize operational efficiency.

Data & Stakeholder Management

• Data Analysis: Utilize Excel, SQL, or BI tools to perform data profiling and reporting that supports data-driven decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, testers, and product owners to ensure technical designs align with business objectives throughout Agile/Scrum or Waterfall lifecycles.

 

Mandatory Technical Requirements

1. Experience: 7+ years of professional BA experience in IT or digital transformation.
2. Platform Knowledge: Direct experience with Process Orchestration and LCNC (specifically OutSystems or similar platforms).
3. Documentation: Mastery of BRD, FRD, and User Story creation with clear acceptance criteria.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools for logic validation.
5. Compliance: Must be able to clear criminal and drug testing (DT) prior to onboarding.
