EWM Architect — SAP Logistics
Enterprise S/4HANA Digital Transformation Program
Position: EWM Architect — SAP Logistics | Program: S/4HANA Digital Transformation
Experience: 10+ years
1. Role Context
  • Seeking an experienced EWM Architect to lead SAP Extended Warehouse Management solution design for a global S/4HANA transformation in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Own end-to-end EWM architecture, global template design, and solution governance.
  • Design core warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, internal movements, production staging, replenishment, RF/mobile execution, and inventory management.
  • Architect advanced EWM scenarios such as wave management, HU management, quality integration, cross-docking, and high-volume warehouse execution.
  • Ensure EWM design supports manufacturing logistics, production supply, subcontracting, intercompany logistics, and global supply chain needs.
2. Integration, Delivery & Governance:
  • Lead integration design across SAP modules, MES, PLM, RF/mobile, middleware, EDI, APIs, IDocs, and SAP BTP/CPI.
  • Guide master data, migration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare readiness.
  • Partner with business, IT, and program teams to manage design decisions, dependencies, risks, and delivery alignment.
3. Must-Have Skills
  • SAP EWM Architecture:  Expertise in embedded/decentralized EWM, warehouse structure, process configuration, global templates, and design governance.
  • EWM Processes: Hands-on design experience across inbound, outbound, internal movements, production staging, replenishment, RF/mobile, HU management, and inventory management.
  • SAP Integration: Strong integration knowledge across MM, SD, PP, QM, MES, PLM, transportation, APIs, IDocs, EDI, and SAP BTP/CPI.
  • Manufacturing Logistics: Experience with production supply, Kanban, JIT/JIS, subcontracting, STO, intercompany logistics, and global supply chain operations.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead workshops, guide teams, make design decisions, manage risks, and support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
4. Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Industry: Hi-Tech, semiconductor, electronics, medical devices, aerospace, or complex discrete manufacturing.
  • Certifications: SAP EWM, S/4HANA Supply Chain, SAP Activate, or SAP BTP/CPI certification.
Delivery Methods: SAP Activate, Agile delivery, design authority, global rollout governance, or multi-vendor program experience
