Job Description:

Must to Have: Snowflake, DBT, SQL

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake DBT Developer / Production Support professional with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake, DBT, and SQL.

The ideal candidate should have experience in developing and maintaining data transformation pipelines, building data models, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting enterprise data warehouse environments.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

🔹 Develop and maintain data transformation workflows using DBT and Snowflake

🔹 Design and implement scalable DBT data models

🔹 Write complex and optimized SQL queries

🔹 Develop DBT models, macros, tests, snapshots, and documentation

🔹 Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks

🔹 Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot production failures

🔹 Perform root-cause analysis for data and pipeline issues

🔹 Provide production support and resolve incidents within defined SLAs

🔹 Optimize Snowflake queries and workloads for performance and cost efficiency

🔹 Work with data engineers, analysts, application teams, and business stakeholders

🔹 Support deployments and production releases across environments

🔹 Maintain technical documentation and support procedures

🔹 Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities

💻 Required Technical Skills

❄️ Snowflake

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake

Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, and warehouses

Query optimization and performance tuning

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts

🔧 DBT

Strong hands-on experience with DBT

DBT models, macros, tests, snapshots, sources, and documentation

DBT project structure and dependency management

Troubleshooting DBT jobs and model failures

DBT deployment / CI-CD experience is a plus

🗄️ SQL

Advanced SQL skills

Complex joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, and aggregations

Data transformation and validation

SQL performance troubleshooting

🚀 Production Support Experience

🔹 Enterprise production support experience

🔹 Data pipeline monitoring and troubleshooting

🔹 Incident and problem management

🔹 Root-cause analysis

🔹 Production issue resolution within SLA

🔹 Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
