Role: Sr. QA Analyst

Location: Washington, DC-hybrid- 1 times in a 1 or 2 week so need from DC, MD and VA only

Job type: Long term contract

Visa: USC, GC, GCEAD, H4EAD

 

Looking for SDET with Java experience.

Transportation domain experience is good to have

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • Requires four to seven years of systems development and/or business experience.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management
  • Experience with Test Driven Development, and/or test automation for DevOps
  • Core Java development experience (Java, Core Java, JE22, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, Angular.JS)
  • Experience with UI and API test automation
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of testing tools, QA methodologies and DevOps. Jira Xray experienced is preferred

 

Essential Functions:

  • Create automated test frameworks and QA processes
  • Develop internal tools and processes
  • Works on projects of all levels of complexity within any of the IT development environments.
  • Reviews formal test plans and documented test results. · Review of project deliverables and produces the compliance checklist
  • Monitors, evaluates and makes recommendations on QA tasks within enterprise-wide processes such as; test life cycles, change management and release management.
  • Assists in creating standard operating procedures and metrics based on best practices for the QA team. Identifies and proposes areas of improvement throughout the QA process.
  • Adheres to and enforces QA processes. · Conducts investigations
  • on identified technical and operational problems on installed networks, systems and products.
